In the Quechua language KUSART means "Art that Makes an Impact."

Teresa, our founder, was driven by a desire to elevate her Peruvian roots and bring the beauty of Peruvian culture to the world.

Today, our handmade products support expert local artisans who use ancient techniques that bring to life one of a kind contemporary designs. KUSART DESIGN celebrates the blending of history, design and beauty.

The distinction of our craft lies in the Huamanga Stone amongst other elements such as wood and metals. Huamanga is translucent and earthy, and is otherwise known as Andean Alabaster that comes from Ayacucho in the mountains of Peru.
